Server: Seonju - service 15/10 Have been looking for a Korean fried chicken place close to me FOREVER and a friend recommended Pelicana - and my life (and calorie intake) has officially been changed. Such good fresh food - we started with corn cheese (my favorite) - it was fresh and the cheese was so good and melty. We got the plain not rose tteokbokki - had an amazing kick to it - wish I ordered rice for all that extra delicious gravy. And the chicken. OMG. We got the regular boneless and it was amazing. So crispy and so fresh. It was such an amazing experience, please support this small business when looking for Korean food or Korean fried chicken!

Some of the best Korean fried chicken in Mississauga! The staff is extremely kind and the chickens always fresh. I’ve tried most of the flavours and it’s hard to go wrong with any of them.

Not sure if it as an age thing or my palette is changing. Lately the idea of fried chicken isn't as appealing to me, but upon super high recommendations, gave the Korean Fried Chicken a go! While the flavours were nice, the chicken was juicy and I think fried twice, as should be the case - the regular boneless that we got didn't quite appeal to me to want to try it again. Overall, the experience was good and I am sure for those of you that are fans of fried chicken won't be disappointed. Personally, a good enough experience, but I will leave it at that. (For now...:)) P.S: We ordered a round of the regular boneless as takeaway to accompany our other food for dinner.

Me & my fiancée decided to check this place out not knowing to expect. The place itself has lots of warm lighting & clean- giving it that home feeling! We ordered the Tteokbokki & Pelicana sauce which was soo good! The tteokbokki surprisingly always stayed hot almost the entire time & the chicken was cooked really well! What really brought it together was the service- The waitress REALLY did make the experience! VERY friendly and the small things like already having 2 bowls prepared for sharing and checking in from time to time showed superb service! It is a bit pricy but I’d say worth the try! Would come again! P.S. The water jugs are ALWAYS cold so if ya always like cold water they got it !

Our new go-to Korean fried chicken spot! Chicken was served very hot and crispy! Loved the snow cheese flavour, that will be our go to. Great service and was able to walk in on a Friday, but it gets busy too.

The chicken was so fresh and delicious. We ordered the Devil's Chicken, Snow Cheese Chicken and the Rose Tteokbokki. Everything was worth the wait, I can't wait to back there again! The server was also very kind!

Hidden Gem for Korean Fried Chicken in Mississauga: Having lived in Mississauga for most of my life, and having also spent time living in Korea, I can confidently say that Pelicana Mississauga serves top-notch Korean fried chicken. The chicken was perfectly moist, crispy, and bursting with flavor. It’s hard to find fried chicken this clean and well-prepared. The restaurant itself was spotless, including the washroom, which is often a good sign of overall cleanliness and care. Seonju, who appeared to be the main staff member or manager, was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the visit. It’s a wonderful, authentic spot that stays open late—perfect for satisfying those late-night cravings. Highly recommended for anyone looking for legit Korean fried chicken in the city.

for one of the spots that is open past 11 pm in Mississauga, this is now my new go to. Although it was busy, the waitresses were able to attend to us and they were also able to explain everything on the menu because it is Korean. The rosé tteok-bokki and the pelican fried chicken was really good. Want to go back for the snow cheese. I would say that the rosé tteokbokki was a dish hitter for me. We actually ended up getting wings and it seemed like anyone who had gotten a chicken (like other parts of the chicken), enjoyed it much more. So I definitely will be going back.
